Manager, Technical (Woven / Knits) Job in Kowloon, VT

<p><u><b>Job Responsibilities:</b></u></p><ul><li><span>Act as Technical lead to manage, coach, and develop a team in their day-to-day operations</span></li><li><span>Responsible for developing and motivating the team to function as an unit as well as category expert in their product group, to understand brand DNA, PVH Europe quality standards, and maintain a high level of service from Proto to Pre-production sample handover</span></li><li><span>Provide training and brand knowledge sharing to increase team understanding and help the team execute the Right First Time sample </span></li><li><span>Support internal stakeholders (Onshore, Offshore & vendor partners and factories) and act as first contact point to resolve construction, make, and fitting issues</span></li><li>Measure and manage KPIs to drive organizational goals</li><li>Review sampling processes and procedures with regional counterparts in Amsterdam, Shanghai, and the Indian Subcontinent seasonally to identify reoccurring issues, set and implement corrective action</li><li><span>Provide updated S.O.P and performance-enhancing training to current factories</span></li><li><span>Educate new vendors and factories to ensure they understand sample requirements and quality standards </span></li><li><span>Take the lead in driving technical evolution in Digital and Virtual sample approval process</span></li></ul><p></p><p><b>Job Requirements:</b></p><ul><li>Bachelor Degree in Technical Management or related discipline preferred</li><li>8-10 years of garment, manufacturing experience in handling premium brands and multiple product groups (Woven / Knits) for Men, Women, and Kids</li><li>In-depth knowledge of pattern making, garment construction and manufacturing process</li><li>Able to build good working relationships and communicate effectively across the team and organization</li><li>Able to proactively analyze issues, problem solve and convey technical information clearly in common terms</li><li>Knowledge of PLM & 3D programs a plus</li><li>Excellent command of English, Cantonese and Mandarin</li><li>Frequent travel is required</li><li>Immediate available is highly preferred</li></ul>","industry":"Retail"
