Job Description

POSITION SUMMARY:


Manage distribution business in the Asia Pacific for Tommy Hilfiger, develop strategies & action plans to drive the growth of the business in the region; including a dedicated focus on assisting department head in long-range business planning including 3-year plans, new market/business developments, collecting market intelligence etc.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES/ACCOUNTABILITIES OF THE JOB:

Business Strategy & Development

  • Act as lead to working with internal & external partners to develop & coordinate a business plan, formulating strategies and action plans to hit business objectives as well as driving growth potentials
  • Drive new business/market opportunities to accelerate business growth. A major focus will be driving the growth of eCom and Omni-Channel capability in SEA markets
  • Support the management team including budgeting, pricing study, market research, business analysis, etc
  • Contract liaison and explore opportunities of new business partners

Business Performance

  • Closely monitoring the Distributors to ensure business targets are met, including retail sales, purchase, POS opening/closure/renovation, inventory, marketing etc
  • Coordinate approval for new business locations, working closely with the Go-To-Market Team (GTM) to ensure all POS are built properly according to the PVH guidelines
  • Coordinate with eCom Team for online platform approvals, and ensure developments are in synch with brand directives
  • Coordinate approval for marketing projects, working closely with the GTM Team to ensure all marketing projects are carried out according to the PVH guidelines
  • Working closely with internal parties such as Planning, Logistics Departments to ensure
    products are delivered to customers on time per orders received
  • Generate & review business reports timely to monitor business performances, including retail sales, purchase, POS opening/closure/renovation, inventory, marketing etc
  • Regional presentations

Brand & Marketing

  • Ensure Distributors launch season/product on time & coupled with relevant brand & marketing supporting activities
  • Develop regional launch & brand/marketing calendar, share relevant activities within the region
  • Support brand protection (legal) when needed
  • Develop a system to coordinate & timely monitor market intelligence within the region, as well as globally whenever relevant

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:

  • Experience: At least 5-8 years hands-on experience in retail / wholesale industry. Southeast Asia distributors handling experience would be preferred
  • Education: University graduate in Business Administration / Marketing or related disciplines preferred

Skills:

  • Knowledge in fashion retail / wholesale industry
  • Good analytical and numerical skills and business sense
  • Mature, independent & with strong presentation and communication skills
  • Proficiency in MS office, advanced Excel (Pivot Table & VLOOKUP) and Powerpoint
  • Fluency in English, Cantonese and Mandarin
