<p><b>POSITION SUMMARY:</b></p><p>The Assistant Merchandiser for The Underwear Group is a key partner to the Merchandiser and responsible for assisting in North America product strategy and brand growth. He or she is responsible for helping the team with the development of the North America assortment, merchandise strategies and facilitating department deliverables that support in meeting these objectives.</p><p></p><p><b>PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES/ACCOUNTABILITIES OF THE JOB:</b></p><ul><li>Provide day to day merchandising support to the senior merchandiser</li><li>Assists in product vision and building the North America merchandising assortment</li><li>Collaborate with key cross functional partners on a day to day basis</li><li>Responsible for adhering to calendar and critical deadlines</li><li>Coordinate and manage samples and showroom set up</li><li>Creation of all sales samples requests</li><li>Assist in preparation for key milestone deliverables; create and compile line sheets for each market, as well as key selling tools for market</li><li>Support senior merchandiser to provide sales and NA regional teams with product knowledge and serve as an informational resource</li><li>Support with late add requests from inception through execution</li><li>Responsible for the input and updating of data in merchandising tools seasonal line matrix</li><li>Responsible for all system and data updates i.e. 7th online and XPC</li><li>Understanding of the North America consumer; research and support with competitor landscape analysis as required and call out product opportunities</li></ul><p></p><p><b>QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE</b></p><p><b>Experience: </b>1-2 years Merchandising experience</p><p></p><p><b>Education: </b>Bachelors Degree in Merchandising or related field</p><p></p><p><b>Skills: </b></p><ul><li>Detail oriented</li><li>Strong communication skills, both written and verbal</li><li>Strong interpersonal, organizational, and teamwork skills</li><li>High level of analytical skills and conceptual creative ability</li><li>Proficient in Microsoft (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint)</li><li>General understanding of retail math</li></ul><div class = "countryDisclaimer"> <p style="font-style: italic;">PVH Corp. or its subsidiary ("PVH") is an equal opportunity employer and considers all applicants for employment on the basis of their individual capabilities and qualifications, consistent with applicable law and without regard to race, color, sex, gender identity or expression, age, religion, creed, national origin, citizenship status, sexual orientation, genetic information, physical or mental disability, military status or any other characteristic protected under federal, state or local law.
