The Team

PVH Europe is on a mission to redefine the fashion industry by driving full digitization along the companys entire value chain, from product design to the end-consumer.

The Technology department aims to become a driving force in the organization for technology strategies & tools that enable the companys growth and create ever-increasing value for the end-user, be it the PVH organization, the employees, our customers or consumers.

Our Retail Omnichannel product teams aim to create a seamless consumer experience across all consumer channels, thereby connecting online and offline channels. The success of the product teams is based on the effort and collaboration with many other teams across the organization which are all part of the companys omnichannel journey. The product teams develop, implement and orchestrate the initiatives in an agile way from a business perspective until complete operational implementation as well as guiding the cross-functional teams.

The Position

The Omnichannel Retail domain is split into three subdomains. Retail Technology is focusing on in-store technologies as POS and inventory management systems, Digital Store Experience is covering digital store solutions for our customers and sales associates and Omnichannel Platform is supporting building a sustainable omnichannel platform for order orchestration, fulfilment and tracking around online and offline channel accelerating omnichannel consumer jourenys.

The Head of Omnichannel Platform is leading the technical resources and strategy to support existing solutions and define sustainable technology for the future digital consumer journeys in an omnichannel scenario. The product teams in the Omnichannel Platform domain support our own and partner online platforms with backend omnichannel capabilities as

  • Integrations to our own eCommerce solutions and partner platforms as Zalando/About You etc.

  • Order Orchestration, Processing and Integrations into warehouse logistics

  • Supporting Customer Service tooling with order information/tracking and goodwill

  • Store Fulfilment

  • Payment Integrations and Reconciliation

  • Customer Communications

  • Omnichannel Pricing and Promotions incl. Markdown Optimization

  • Omnichannel Services as Click and Collect / Store Returns etc.

  • Omnichannel Planning and Merchandizing as MFP, Assortment Planning, Allocation and Replenishment

Key Responsibilities:

  • Represent the technical strategy of your area of responsibility and oversee the solution architecture across five product teams within the tech organization

  • Guide and ensure overarching holistic technology implementations in the area of responsibility

  • Align cross team deliveries, drive cross team collaboration, coach team members and represent an agile and growth mindset in the teams

  • Analyse proactively processes and systems to identify areas of improvements and design sustainable solutions using latest technologies in close collaboration with our enterprise architecture team

  • Provide expertise in analysing new business requirements while assessing impact and striving for the most adequate and optimum solutions

  • Make sure technology products are integrated smoothly and seamlessly into existing operational models improve or set up new operational models within the organization where required

  • Manage internal and external technical resources across five teams, coach them on continues base in an agile environment and align development plans

  • Manage external vendors and partners which are required for project deliveries and operations

The Ideal Candidate:

  • Bachelor or Master degree and 5-10 years of experience in a similar role

  • End2End in depth understanding of online/offline/omnichannel processes from planning, merchandizing, buying until order management and financial reconciliation, ideally in a Fashion Retail environment

  • Experience of implementing omnichannel platforms within a similar environment. As a technology leader or as Business Owner

  • Profound knowledge and experience and understanding of technological frameworks as a project manager, consultant or product owner with at least three of the following applications:

    • Experience in vendor, hybrid or custom order management solutions

    • SAP Retail/FMS, especially DtC Order Processing incl. Financials


    • Experience in cloud native solutions for omnichannel (ideally AWS)

    • SAP Fiori on SAP Gateway and SCP

    • eCom integrations to own and partner platforms

    • Omnichannel Planning and Merhcnadizing applications

  • Strong organisational and management skills in an agile organization, close collaboration with other stakeholders

  • Demonstrated project management skills, including the ability to create project plans and manage project activity to the defined plan

  • Hands on implementation experience of Omnichannel technologies
