<p>The Account Executive is responsible for sales related functions and selling the ideas of the season to secure orders and will report directly to the Director of Sales. <b> Candidates with Kohl's account experience, preferred.</b></p><p></p><p><span class="emphasis-3"><b>Responsibilities:</b></span></p><ul><li>Responsible for articulating and selling the ideas and visions of the season to secure orders that support the divisions sales plans</li><li>Build strong relationship with buyers and all account personnel to become main contact for all accounts needs</li><li>Track and react to weekly business, capitalize on additional business and sales opportunities by recognizing class trends and slow sellers</li><li>Review product assortment misses, review merchandising and give stores suggestions on how to capitalize on classification selling</li><li>Maintain and grow the business by managing to a sound financial plan</li><li>Executes realistic seasonal shipping projections in partnership with accounts projections</li><li>Responsible for monthly unconfirmed order file and assistance with Monthly ship spread meetings</li><li>Analyze weekly/monthly sales by door. React to and capitalize on by door trends and sales opportunities</li><li>Travel to select retail doors /inspect product/question prices/gather comp information</li><li>Partner with merchandising on seasonal assortments to maximize product opportunities and trends</li><li>Work closely with Merch. Operations to deliver the market buy within the agreed upon timeline</li><li>Responsible for pre and post market process, including entering buys for merch. ops, class and big item meetings, re-negotiating buy choices with account and checking final orders are accurate</li><li>Take an active part in all Accounts product meetings: Strategy session, Color & Concept and Cad/Proto review</li><li>Work with Marketing teams and sales assistant to ensure samples are ordered and prepared for shoots</li><li>Utilize the coordinator field team to help drive sales through communication of strategies as well as take feedback and action items if possible</li><li>Meet with visual team on a regular basis to explain initiatives, sales strategies and visual directive</li></ul><p></p><p><span class="emphasis-3"><b>Qualifications:</b></span></p><ul><li><span>College degree </span></li><li><p><span>5-7+ years of wholesale experience; mens experience, a plus</span></p></li><li>Previous experience on Kohl's accounts, preferred</li><li>Knowledge of retail math</li><li>Ability to travel (in accordance with COVID-19 policies)</li><li>Experience working with major better department store; managing business $25M+</li><li>Excellent communication skills</li><li>Ability to handle multiple tasks/projects with adherence to deadlines</li><li>MS Office (Excel, Word and PowerPoint) and MS Outlook</li><li>Strong analytical skills</li><li>Business acumen and creativity</li><li>Strong organizational skills, including ability to prioritize</li><li>Professional demeanor and proactive approach</li><li>Ability to interface with all levels within the organization</li><li>Strong work ethic</li><li>Enthusiasm for product</li><li>Ability to think and act independently but receptive to taking direction from multiple people</li><li>Ability to handle multiple tasks/projects with adherence to deadlines</li><li>Detail oriented</li><li>Must be someone who sees the value in working as part of a team</li><li><p>Ability to work in a fast paced, ever changing environment</p></li></ul><p>#LI-CS1<br /></p><div class = "countryDisclaimer"> <p style="font-style: italic;">PVH Corp. or its subsidiary ("PVH") is an equal opportunity employer and considers all applicants for employment on the basis of their individual capabilities and qualifications, consistent with applicable law and without regard to race, color, sex, gender identity or expression, age, religion, creed, national origin, citizenship status, sexual orientation, genetic information, physical or mental disability, military status or any other characteristic protected under federal, state or local law.
