TheVCoFteam is part of the PVH supply organization and was created to identify, expose and testinnovative technologiesandbusiness modelsto deliver onsolutionsfor thefuture,looking beyond immediate needs. This role will focus on researching, and testing innovative new sustainable materials, trims and packaging, while collaborating with brands and cross functional teams to help bring the materials to scale. The role will focus on innovations with a three to five year time horizon</p><p></p><p>The PVH Supply Circularity team was created to ensure that PVH creates and operationalizes an end to end circular supply chain that prepares PVH for the changing sustainability environment and the ever changing retail environment.</p><p></p><p>Reporting to the Circularity Supply Director, the Associate Manager is responsible for researching and screening alternative material innovations, providing strategic analysis, generating POC/pilot ideas, scoping project details, and executing tests by collaborating with brands and cross functional teams.</p><p></p><p><b>PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES/ACCOUNTABILITIES OF THE JOB:</b></p><ul><li>Build future-looking sustainable material, trims and packaging landscape that includes but is not limited to natural fibers, biosynthetics, recycled-content materials, regenerative materials, biodegradable and compostable materials and innovative packaging.</li><li>Develop relationships with companies with innovative materials and test the materials prior to bringing into PVH brands</li><li>Research and benchmark industry peers initiatives</li><li>Translate relevant innovations in the market into feasible pilots at PVH</li><li>Identify potential brands at PVH to lead pilots with brands and collaborate with relevant teams</li><li>Develop a project plan and manage the end to end lifecycle of new material adoption</li><li>Monitor key metrics of the pilots, such as quality and cost of materials and communicate with leaders both the progress and result of the pilots</li><li>Understand and communicate environmental impact of materials</li><li>Work closely with PVH Supply VCoF leaders</li></ul><p></p><p><b>DECISION MAKING:</b></p><ul><li>Be strategic in selecting the relevant materials to test and pilot</li><li>Must have strong influencing skills</li><li>Provide recommendation around best way to conduct the POCs</li><li>Leverage both qualitative and quantitative data to provide guidance for the project plan</li></ul><p></p><p><b>RESOURCEFULNESS/CREATIVITY:</b></p><ul><li>Able to leverage multiple sources of research and synthesize large amount of information to digestible and actionable projects</li><li>Able to think creatively around how to structure the pilots when thinking through best way to partner and execute POCs/tests</li><li>Able to communicate clearly the objective and plan for the pilots both internally and externally</li><li>Able to craft and tell a compelling story when influencing various partners involved in the pilot</li><li>Positive attitude</li><li>Extremely curious and inquisitive</li></ul><p></p><p><b>ENVIRONMENT: </b></p><p>Individual contributor & team player at same time - must be able to work independently and to be self-sufficient, but also must be able to act as a team leader and collaborator.</p><ul><li>Ability to influence at all levels</li><li>Ability to work in ambiguity</li></ul><p></p><p><b>QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:</b></p><p></p><p><b> Experience: </b></p><ul><li>3+ years of work experience in raw materials, textiles</li><li>Proven ability to create, implement and measure new processes</li><li>Experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment</li><li>Experience with lifecycle assessments and calculating environmental impact</li></ul><p></p><p><b> Education:</b></p><ul><li>Degree in material science, textile engineering, textile development or equivalent degree or experience</li><li>Advanced degree preferred, but not required</li></ul><p></p><p><b> Skills: </b></p><ul><li>Knowledge of raw material constructions, dyeing and finishing process</li><li>Strong problem solving and analytical skills</li><li>Strong influencing skills - ability to elicit cooperation from senior management and other departments</li><li>Strong communication skills both verbal and written</li><li>Strong in MS: Word, Excel, and Powerpoint</li><li>Able to work in the gray and able to create structure around the unknown</li><li>Rapidly adapt and respond to changes in environment and priorities.</li></ul><div class = "countryDisclaimer"> <p style="font-style: italic;">PVH Corp. or its subsidiary ("PVH") is an equal opportunity employer and considers all applicants for employment on the basis of their individual capabilities and qualifications, consistent with applicable law and without regard to race, color, sex, gender identity or expression, age, religion, creed, national origin, citizenship status, sexual orientation, genetic information, physical or mental disability, military status or any other characteristic protected under federal, state or local law.
