Job Description

POSITION SUMMARY:

The Director, Global VM Presentation is responsible for initiating, developing and overseeing the visual concepts for window/in-store, showroom and wholesale presentations across the globe.

From strategy to launch, this role is critical to ensure all regional partners are aligned on our global initiatives.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES/ACCOUNTABILITIES OF THE JOB:

  • Key point of communication between Regional, Licensed and Joint Venture Partners for seasonal and non-seasonal projects, working with regional & cross functional teams on follow-ups and next steps.

  • Oversee the development and partner directly with the Graphic Designer (Guidelines), Creative and Production team on building out comprehensive toolkits for Seasonal Window/In-Store Creative, Showrooms & Lobbies, Pop-Ups, and Wholesale and Licensed Projects (where applicable).

  • Work with regional teams on Showroom Market Week launches, including physical setups.

  • Monitor global standards for effectiveness and efficiency.

  • Work directly with regions on all seasonal creative proposals and provide feedback and follow-up accordingly until installation.

  • Work with Regional teams to build out inspirational merchandising guideline templates to drive all seasonal focuses that are sent out to markets. This includes an overarching Global template, Fit Guide & Merchandising updates and Collaboration direction.

  • Partner with Store Design on all upcoming new store opening, retrofit plans and new store designs.

  • Develop and oversee current and new regional production on all VM Tools. Include relevant Procurement teams as necessary.

  • Work with department PM on all seasonal briefs, including aligning on deliverables for the VM Creative team to work back to.

  • Resolve problems, raise flags when needed, and keep moving towards completion

  • Gain strong understanding of CK brand standards to ensure all project deliverables stay on brand

  • Stay up to date with latest industry news and trends to ensure optimization

  • Provide point of view on best practices and solutions across function.

QUALIFICATIONS/ EXPERIENCE:

Experience:

Minimum 8+ years proven and progressive product VM experience across apparel, accessories, fragrance, watches & jewelry and home. Understanding the window to in-store black thread.

Education:

Bachelors degree in business related field or equivalent experience

Skills:

  • Must have clear understanding of reading floor plans, elevation, materials, and construction

  • Strong interpersonal skills; positive, energetic and open minded

  • Strong work ethic, and relentless commitment to quality and efficiency

  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal

  • Confident and comfortable presentation skills

  • Strong data/analytics skills

  • Ability to lead and manage cross-functional teams within corporate environment

  • Extraordinary attention to detail and organizational skills

  • Flexibility to adjust quickly to changes and ability to deliver on tight deadlines

  • Proficiency with Mac OS, digital asset management systems, project tracking systems

  • Passion for the fashion industry
