Have fun, make beautiful art, and work hard. If that’s your life mantra, then this job is for you! Ju-Ju-Be is seeking a full-time graphic designer to help in our marketing department. Fast paced, creative, and inspiring, Ju-Ju-Be markets to stylish modern moms. Energy and a great fashion sense are a must. Good skills in both print and web are preferred. Photo and video skills are highly preferred. Social media experience also a major plus! This is a full-time position in the office. Location is in Irvine, CA.
Job duties include the following:
Responsibilities:
• Support the Director of Marketing in all creative efforts.
• Based on design briefs or creative requests, begin and/or manipulate print projects including catalogs, marketing handouts, and sales presentations.
• Using both product and lifestyle photography, create digital assets to support social campaigns, emails, and web graphics.
• Work within the Shopify backend to manipulate basic web pages (ex… blog posts).
• Using company assets and photography create digital ads in various sizes and formats to support product launches.
• Refinish, crop, catalog, and upload raw images from the product photographer.
• Creatively photograph product and product details to show interesting angles, montages
• Create short video vignettes to show product features and/or lifestyle brand presentations.
• Think creatively and develop new design concepts, graphics and layouts.
• Amend and revise designs to meet internal and external requirements. Work with both the design team and the other departments to gain full approval of projects before publishing.
• Work as part of a team with copywriters, designers, photographers, stylists, executives.
Key Skills:
• Proven graphic designing experience
• Possession of creative flair, versatility, conceptual/visual ability and originality
• Demonstrable graphic design skills with a strong portfolio
• Ability to interact, communicate and present ideas
• Proficiency with industry leading software and technologies (In Design, Illustrator, Photoshop, Shopify etc.)
• Professionalism regarding time, costs and deadlines
• Positive attitude, winning smile, and fun personality
• Ability to lay out product and props in photographic flat lays
• Studio photography of product
• Lifestyle photography of models and product
• Video skills with DSLR or similar
• Video Editing skills
This is an excellent opportunity to gain experience in a fast-paced environment with real life impact. Attendance in the office is required on a full time basis, but occasional at-home work is possible. Please submit a resume and any portfolio work available. Payment is hourly with anticipated 40 hour/week minimum. Rate depends up on experience. Excellent benefits included.
