DIRECTOR OF ENGINEERING

OVERVIEW
Rarefied Atmosphere, Inc. is currently looking for a highly motivated, and hands-on Director of Engineering to help lead an existing team of engineers responsible for Atmosphere's web, customer portal, tvOS, APIs, etc. Proficiency in working with modern frameworks to build the backbone of dynamic web applications is a must. The individual will be passionate about code and development efficiency, optimization, meaningful documentation, and testing.
ABOUT RAREFIDE ATMOSPHERE, INC.
Atmosphere is the world's largest streaming TV service for businesses, offering original, audio-optional TV channels. There is a channel for every business and mood. Atmosphere's TV channels fill the void for businesses in a world dominated by linear cable TV suited for at-home viewing. No cable carrier has addressed the need for TV programming that doesn't require audio or the love of sports to be enjoyed.
JOB DESCRIPTION
! Help lead a team of 7+ engineers
! Work with product to bring projects to fruition from planning to implementation
! Collaborate with other people and departments to get the job done
! Creative problem solving to grow the product
REQUIREMENTS
! 5+ years minimum experience developing advanced back-end code
! 5+ years minimum experience developing advanced front-end code
! Proficiency in version control and build processes
! Experience with the following is a must: PJP / Laravel, MySQL, Redis, Elasticsearch, Stripe, React, Vue.js
