Buyer/Product Developer, Hardlines (Austin, TX)
The Chivery is searching for a rockstar Buyer/Product Developer to assist in launching initiatives focused on art, rare coins, hard goods, and home goods. Our ideal candidate will be extremely passionate about art, rare coins, hardlines and product development while also holding significant tactical experience managing products in Shopify, Netsuite and our dropshipping platform, Duoplane.
Candidates should also have familiarity with managing vendor relationships, including dropshipping partners, home goods and hard goods production to ensure functionality remains consistent between their products and our ecommerce website.
JOB DESCRIPTION:
! Serve as a liaison between The Chivery and our art and coin production partners
! Find new and exciting artists that match our brand persona to round out our art collection
! Manage relationships with other outside vendors, including dropshippers, to ensure all processes run as smoothly as possible
! Assist our Buying team on Quality Control checks on our printed art and rare coin projects
! Take lead on SKU creation and manufacturing profile creation
! Assist with rare coin and art initiatives, including providing ideas and feedback to our marketing, merchandising, and customer service efforts
! Manage inventory and forecasting reporting
! Manage dropship vendors for SLA compliance
! Manage physical inventory, both on hand and consignment
! Create and execute Purchase Orders
! Create production tech packs for both hard goods and apparel
! Create digital mock-ups and assets for Shopify product pages
! Create all-star, SEO optimized product pages in Shopify for our art-related products
! Spend 1-2 days a week monitoring operations at our local Austin printing & fulfillment center
REQUIREMENTS:
! Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university
! Meaningful buying/production experience
! Well versed in Photoshop
! Shopify experience
! Well versed in Excel
! Familiarity with e-commerce marketing tactics, including Paid Social, Organic Social, and Email
! Experience managing a relationship with a fulfillment and/or printing partner
