eCommerce Director of Marketing
(Austin, TX)
The eCommerce team at Chive Media Group is looking fr the best marketing guru in the world to head up all marketing efforts for the Chivery. The eCommerce Director of Marketing will be responsible for enhancing our online sales, building and sustaining our eCommerce presence and lunching new campaigns that take our eCommerce brands to the moon! We need someone who is well versed in marketing efforts across all channels, and is a proven leader and team motivator.
JOB DESCRIPTION:
! Work with the CEO and Chief Strategy Officer to formulate overall marketing strategies and budgets
! Manage all organic (non paid) and paid user initiatives
! Manage all offline eCommerce marketing executions
! Create, enhance, and set the direction and tone of eCommerce content, including development, editing and maintenance
! Develop strategies to maximize brand storytelling and eCommerce revenue
! Switch between tactical and strategic work on the drop of a hat
! Manage, lead, and develop our growing eCommerce marketing team
! Serve as in-house expert across all marketing channels
! Optimize and report on marketing KPIs
! Conduct relevant marketing research and monitor trends
! Aggressively monitor and understand the competitive landscape
! Develop and manage key marketing relationships with industry brands
! Work closely with the creative and design teams on all upcoming product launches and photo/video shoots
REQUIREMENTS:
! 7+ years of marketing experience; 3+ years managing a team
! 5+ years of eCommerce marketing and/or user acquisition experience
! Extensive experience with email, SEO, and Facebook/Instagram PPC
! Shopify experience is a plus
! Comfortable analyzing and managing budgets
! Must be intimately familiar with and a fan of theCHIVE and The Chivery in order to understand the brand and the products
! An agile leader and individual contributor, able to pivot frequently with an extremely positive attitude
! Exceptional time management and project management
! Must have a war chest of eCommerce marketing tricks to bring to the table
! Must have thick skin and a confident voice
! Degree from a 4 year university a plus
