Product Manager
(AUSTIN, TX)
Chive Media Group is seeking to expand its product team here in Austin. We are looking for a Digital Product Manager to help with the management of our media products across web, mobile, and native apps. You'll be a key part of an evolving product, working in a small startup like environment and interacting with several teams within Chive Media group
JOB DESCRIPTION:
! Work with products across our eCommerce, media, and online betting platforms
! Oversee web, mobile web, and native app product roadmaps
! Gather stakeholder requirements and ensure timely delivery to match business goals
! Coordinate with Design to evolve product and optimize retention and engagement
! Manage metrics, data analysis, and reporting
! Communicate with various groups across the organization including Editorial, Sales, Marketing, and Monetization
! Competitive analysis and research to keep us on top of industry trends
! Work in a fast paced and constantly evolving marketplace
! Collaborate directly with multiple development teams to deliver the product roadmaps
REQUIREMENTS:
! You have 3-7 years of experience as a product manager working directly with engineering teams
! You make data-driven decisions
! You have attention to detail in every step of the product process from gathering requirements, to writing documentation, to approving development work
! You have a keen understanding for what makes great web and mobile app experiences
! You’re a self-starter; you don’t need to be micro-managed
! Experience at a consumer internet company, ideally in the media or entertainment space
! Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
! Experience working with both in-house and remote teams
! Experience working in an agile environment
! Experience with the following is a must: Wordpress, Shopify, JIRA, Google Analytics
