Job Description

POC, located in Park City, UT, is seeking an In-house Territory Sales Rep to cover the Intermountain territory (UT, ID, WY, MT).

The In-house Territory Sales Rep for the Intermountain territory is a key position in the sales of all seasons for POC within Utah, Idaho, Wyoming and Montana. This person will be in charge of selling and servicing all POC accounts within the territory, 12 months a year. This position is based out of Park City, Utah.

OBJECTIVE:
To grow the territory both in snow and bike by being recognized as having the best products, innovation and service in the industry. This territory is underserved and we are looking for a motivated, passionate sports enthusiast to help accelerate growth through many sales and marketing initiatives.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
• Service existing accounts and provide proactive and thorough customer service.
• Track and report sales goals along with monthly, quarterly and yearly actuals.
• Prospecting new accounts and distribution opportunities based on POC’s values, mission and revenue/growth targets.
• Preseasons: Work with all of your accounts to get preseasons in by the deadline and provide recommendations. In many cases submitting a proposed order.
• In-person visit to brick & mortar accounts every 4-6 weeks supporting sell-thru and providing recommendations for re-orders.
• Attend and represent POC at consumer events as well as wholesale/tradeshows/demos.
• Organize and execute training events with all POC retailers.
• Keeps management informed by submitting activity and results reports, such as daily call reports, weekly work plans, and monthly and annual territory analyses.
• Focuses sales efforts by studying existing and potential volume of dealers.
• NuOrder-must become intimate with the B2B platform. Will utilize to submit ASAP & Preseason orders as well as send stock fill recommendations to dealers after shop visits.
• Monitors competition by gathering current marketplace information on pricing, products, new products, programs, merchandising techniques, etc.
• Recommends changes in products, service, and policy by evaluating results and competitive developments.
• Resolves customer concerns with urgency and in a timely fashion.
• Attends and supports marketing and promotional events when the schedule permits.

Job Requirements

POSITION QUALIFICATIONS:
• Education: Preferred: Bachelors degree in business, sales or equivalent work experience.
• Work Experience: Required: 1-3 years in a sales/marketing/promo role.
• Preferred: 1-3+ years experience leading the execution of a marketing plan.
• Skills and general experience: Organized, proactive and a good problem solver while having a positive attitude and a strong work ethic. Passionate enthusiast about cycling and snow sports.

• Key External Customers: Wholesale customers, Direct Customers, Athletes, Partners, etc.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
• General physical requirements: Sedentary work
• Visual acuity requirements: Administrative, computer work and data analysis
• Motion and sensory requirements: Typing, Talking, Hearing, Reading
• Physical working conditions: At events, during travel and when doing the sport of cycling or skiing/snowboarding. Has to be able to set up and take down events, move product around and drive or fly for many hours at a time.
• Travel: 50% or more. 2 trips over seas annually. Most travel to events and to partners. Domestic & internal. Must have a valid passport and drivers license at all times.
