About the job

We are looking to add a knowledgeable person to our team to handle the day-to-day operations of the shop and help manage our employees. This person must be organized, self-motivated, and of course a team player. Knowledge of the brand and its history is a plus. As the Assistant Manager, you will be responsible in assisting with almost all aspects of the business. Your responsibilities will include but are not limited to: assisting in buying, merchandising, managing, scheduling, daily receiving's, customer service, and sales. You will be working directly with the Buyer/Manager as well as the owner to ensure the store runs smoothly in a progressive direction. This is a full-time position and must be able to work weekends and holidays.

- Help lead our retail team with servant leadership skills.
- Achieve sales goals by preparing for the months ahead.
- Ability to receive product and tag merchandise correctly. Attention to detail.
-Complete store administration and ensure compliance with policies and procedures.
- Maintain outstanding store condition and visual merchandising standards.
- Must love people and enjoy talking about surfing while staying on task to complete job duties.
- Maintain inventory levels to ensure sales goals are met.
- Restocking sales floor daily to ensure all products are available on the sales floor.
- Manage all issues that arise from staff or customers (complaints, grievances, etc.)
