Job Description

As our In-House Sales Representative you'll be expected to bring your own sales knowledge, relationships, and techniques to the tasks below. Salary/commission depends on experience.

Purpose:
The Forecast Agency Sales Representatives are responsible to drive, implement and follow through on sales and production initiatives for The Forecast Agency apparel products.

Key Accountabilities:
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with account(s), consistently delivering a high level of customer service including but not limited to selling in, taking fill in orders, checking stock on hand etc.
• Present products to accounts and create strategic assortment plans.
• Achieve established sales goals and deliver all orders by identified deadlines. Includes the tracking and follow through on order status from point of sale with the account to shipment.
• Leverage your market expertise, in terms of knowledge of the competitive landscape and trends in the lifestyle channel, to influence purchasing decisions resulting in ROOK sales.
• Work with in house and freelance art team on cads needed to present the retailer.
• Work with production team on delivery dates, art assets, po uploads into the system and communication with buyer on dates
• Travel is required for both local accounts as well as different US territories and international
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with buyers
• Proactively develop and execute creative events with accounts to positively enhance brand image and increase demand with customers translating into sales growth.
• Oversee in-store product presentation
• You will Identify and execute on new distribution opportunities
• Provide exceptional customer service and follow up
• Perform account needs: training, merchandising, assortment planning, advertising support, while managing a positive relationship with all accounts in the territory
• Attend all applicable trade shows and retail events and meeting scheduling

Knowledge Skills and Abilities:
• Must possess the ability and lifestyle community connectivity to credibly sell product
• Must have strong communication skills with internal and external clients.
• Strong ability to organize and plan.
• Strong presentation skills resulting in effectiveness in a variety of formal presentation settings within and outside of the company.
• Must possess the ability to manage relationships across a diverse account base. Manage issues pertaining to all facets of the fast pace business in the proper manner.
• A strong understanding of retail sales practices and the ability to lay out practical and logical assortment plans based on retail space, inventory turn, and sell through.
• Great knowledge of fashion trends, color, and the consistently changing retail environment.
• Technical proficiency with MS applications (Specifically Excel and Google Sheets/Docs).
