Job Description

SlideBelts, Inc is an innovative fashion company. Our current products are high-quality mens, womens and childrens belts that have no holes. Our office and warehouse is located in El Dorado Hills, Cal.

We are looking for a smart, tech savvy individual with a thirst for knowledge and passion for personal growth. We pride ourselves on growing from within and are on the look out for an individual interested in long term career growth with an exciting, fast moving company.

We are currently looking to hire an experienced Account Executive to take on current accounts and develop the future partnerships with department stores, boutiques, and other retailers.


What you will do:

Seek and Destroy:
• Research, initiate contact, and build relationships with retailers
• Establish wholesale accounts
Provide selling information and/or reaction from accounts to help with product/market strategy; identifying needs to be filled
Collaborate with internal teams at SlideBelts including Marketing, Product Development, Creative, and Finance
Account Relationships:
• Maintain quality and genuine relationships with retail accounts, providing the absolute highest guest service by representing the SlideBelts culture through phone, email, and in person.
• Maintain relationships with the rest of the internal team, our wholesale partners and independent sales reps

Order Fulfillment:
• Ensure all wholesale orders are fulfilled on time and accurately in speed and quality by working with the Operations Team Lead

Special Events:
• Research relevant tradeshows and special events to be represented at
• Provide direction in coordinating registration and all details of tradeshow events, including: product prep, email invitations, product representation
Present brand at product knowledge seminars, trunks shows, trade shows and retail events
Assist with market/tradeshow preparation, sales, and execution
You will work with:

The wholesale team at large to identify and pursue key opportunities
The Brand and leadership team to ensure partnerships are reflective of the brand
The design team to create positive experiences for customers in our partner locations and ensure our brand is being presented in the best way possible

Job Requirements

The following describes you:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related field
• 3 - 4 years of wholesale experience partnering with independent sales representatives, department stores, hotels, or boutiques
• Highly organized, detail oriented, and a no-task-too-small team player mentality
• A positive, outgoing attitude and a genuine desire to help people.
• You are a great communicator no matter what channel - email, text, powerpoint, over the phone, and in person
• You are excited about building relationships and are motivated to meet the goals set for you, and the ones you set for yourself
• Proven track record driving a brand’s success
• General awesomeness, with a great sense of humor
