About the job
The Inertia is seeking a Social Media Editor to develop The Inertia’s voice as an authority and innovator across all social media channels, including Instagram, Facebook, Flipboard, Twitter, and beyond.
The Social Media Editor should be able to deploy original content across all networks seven days a week and optimize the voicing to fit each platform while also planning larger initiatives to innovate and expand The Inertia’s reach across all channels.
The role requires excellent organizational, written, and communication skills. Success in this role hinges on driving meaningful growth, engagement, and innovative, authority-commanding initiatives across all channels. The Social Media editor will also have the opportunity to contribute original content to the website regularly and handle the growth of our email and newsletter marketing distribution.
