The Lead Talent Manager will be a driving force in developing an exciting new business unit with high potential for The Inertia's already-established media properties. This role will require successfully negotiating contracts from start to finish on a brisk timeline and working with CEO to develop and execute strategy in a highly entrepreneurial environment. This role will also involve high-level planning and working to organize and optimize a new segment within the organization. Candidates must have 5+ years of experience working in media and possess a strong knowledge and passion for surf, ocean, and outdoor culture and its major players. Candidates will ideally have strong relationships with athletes and relevant brands within surf and outdoor culture.

Responsibilities

– Successfully negotiate agreements from start to finish quickly
– Develop tools and processes to optimize business unit’s revenue potential
– Assist in conceptualizing brand messaging in internal and external communications
– Develop and optimize e-commerce marketing strategy
– Develop and secure B2B partnerships to maximize revenue potential
– Work with CEO to build out team processes, infrastructure, and planning tools as necessary
