In a dynamic, fast-paced small business environment, our Operations Associate will offer key support for operations, sales and logistics. You will communicate with vendors and team members locally and overseas, and you will also assist to bring in orders and ship wholesale accounts. No two days will be the same!

Lula 101, headquartered in Tustin, Calif., has been involved in the streetwear, lifestyle and action-sports clothing and accessories in Asian markets for nearly two decades. We are an apparel brand distributor and licensee with regional offices in five Asian countries and more than 200 accounts throughout Asia Pacific.

We are looking for a detailed-oriented, efficient and motivated full-time employee who is adept at taking initiative as well as working under supervision. Our ideal candidate will have 2+ years of operations experience in the action sports, apparel, accessories or related field.

Full-time, M-F; work hours are 8:30 a.m. – 5:30 p.m. with a one-hour lunch break and two
10-minute breaks.

Work directly with Operations and Sales Manager to assist in various tasks including:
- Daily communication inside sales, shipping and receiving department and 3rd party logistics.
- Back-up for processing all purchase orders and analyze for discrepancies, variances or errors.
- Provide customer service to existing accounts – resolve discrepancies, issue deposit requests and order acknowledgements.
- Develop new accounts and manage incoming inquiries – both domestic and international markets.
- Create draft and sales material (brand and product introductions, order forms, modify catalogues) for manager’s review.
- Collect and consolidate customer orders; submit production orders (PO) to vendors.
- Create brand presentations and training materials (PowerPoint or Word) for regional offices support.
- Create Excel templates to track sales, incoming deliveries, customer shipping preferences, etc.
- Attend industry trade shows and brand events, develop vendor relationships and source new brands.
- Assist logistics team with warehouse/shipping and receiving support.
- Track inventory using Excel
- Product QC inspection support
- Schedule shipments with freight forwarders
- Complete domestic and international documents: SLI, customs, packing slips, inspection forms
- Other duties as assigned.

Note: Applicants must be proficient in written and spoken English. Must have legal status to work permanently in the U.S.; i.e. either U.S. citizen or green card holder. Having bilingual skills an Asian Pacific language is a plus, but not required.
Streetwear, Skate, Action Sports, industry experience preferred; having a passion for streetwear, skate, lifestyle fashion, sneakerhead culture is a must.

- Must be proficient in the Microsoft Word and Excel, with a working knowledge of PowerPoint.
- Demonstrate initiative, detail oriented and accountability in all tasks, large or small.
- Must be a team player with ability to work independently.
- Must have English proficiency and strong communications skills, both written and spoken.
- Have an undergraduate degree in business, sales or a related field – or the equivalent of 2 years of combined work experience and relevant course work.
- Must have a minimum of 2+ years’ work experience in wholesale/distribution, operations assistance and/or B2B customer service – preferably in B2B or B2C apparel and accessories (streetwear, skate or action sports industry).
- Sense of humor is a plus.
- Must have legal status to work permanently in the U.S.; i.e. either U.S. citizen or green card holder.
- Selected candidate must consent to a background check.
Annual merit-based raises; health insurance compensation payment: $200/mo. , six PTO days, seven paid holidays. Retirement plan (eligible after one year), work travel compensation, employee discounts.
