Areas that play to your strengths (all the responsibilities we'll trust you with) Expand all Collapse All OVERVIEW/ STRATEGY Collaborate with Sales, Production and Distribution teams to set release strategy and overarching message for each film Develop and implement a cohesive and complementary marketing & communications strategy that achieves both awareness and conversion Define marketing & communications goals, develop KPIs and conduct post-mortems for communications & marketing campaigns Oversee Paid, Earned, Shared and Owned strategies for feature films in the U.S. and ensure excellence in execution Provide expert marketing counsel and leadership to internal and external stakeholders Effectively manage film marketing & communications budgets MEDIA & OPINION LEADER RELATIONS Create and lead story-driven communications campaigns anchored in media relations and opinion leader strategies. Develop strong messaging that generates buzz across earned and social media and drives engagement and transaction Build and Maintain relationships with key journalists, influencers and industry leaders Manage media training, press tours & junkets ADVERTISING & CREATIVE Oversee the creation of visual communications and promotional assets for feature film releases in the U.S. (ex: artwork, videos, text materials) Lead creative team and agencies to develop effective concepts designed to clearly articulate strategic communication objectives and carry concepts through marketing life cycle Consult on advertising and media buying strategies to deliver maximum impact EXPERIENTIAL Oversee film festival, special events and awards strategy and manage the team to deliver results that drive impact. Manage and execute grassroots marketing strategies aimed at building community and broadening reach and engagement among key audiences and affinity groups LEADERSHIP Develop and manage a team of direct reports. Build and maintain high-performance through effective management, communication and coaching Successfully collaborate with internal business partners across departments and territories in a highly matrixed environment Manage third-party vendors, agencies as needed
