Areas that play to your strengths (all the responsibilities we'll trust you with) Expand all Collapse All Team & Project Management Evaluate, prioritize and execute Legal priorities that align people, processes and technology to business and lawyer needs. Provide project management support, defining project objectives, milestones, and deliverables for all Legal projects. Lead and manage 2 direct reports. Process & Systems Improvement Identify and implement tools and technologies to streamline new or existing practices (e.g., contract management, matter management, e-billing, e-discovery) Oversee regular reporting and analysis on department metrics and benchmarks to track progress and inform key decisions. Financial/Budget Management Manage budget and forecasting. Conduct litigation exposure analysis to support our attorneys in assessing risk. Communication & Training Create and communicate department and company workflows and guidelines. Establish and maintain programs for Legal team training & development. Update and rollout business trainings and self-service tools such as templates and intranet pages. Business Partnership & Support Provide ongoing support for attorneys in their management of the legal aspects of outside counsel relationships, including engagement agreements, budgets, performance measurement and reporting, and compliance with billing guidelines. Support Legal Department alignment with other key company functions such as HR, IT, Finance, Sales and Marketing, as with global counterparts.
