Summary:
The Email Program Manager is responsible for driving the email planning and execution process. This role will support the marketing strategy as a whole by leading the delivery of compelling, personalized messages to customers in the interest of improving customer retention and increasing customer lifetime value. this position sits in Portland, OR and reports to the Retention Marketing Manager. Responsibilities:
Owns email channel revenue and develops the email calendar
Works with Retention Marketing Manager to develop and execute email campaigns which support the promotional calendar and the overall customer retention strategy
Leads the email creation, testing, sending and reporting process
Develops and implements email segmentation and personalization in support of channel and customer retention objectives
Creates customer lifecycle programs to improve overall order frequency and retention
Develops and implements email tests to improve the effectiveness of the channel
Measures the performance of individual campaigns and provides customer engagement and behavioral insights to Marketing and Merchandising stakeholders to inform future campaigns
Collaborates with other members of Marketing & Merchandising to feature compelling content within messages which aims to guide, inform, and entertain customers through their journeys
Keeping up to date with email marketing best practices and strategies
Other tasks as assigned
Qualifications:
A passion for conducting 1-to-1 customer marketing at scale
3+ years experience managing the email planning and execution process
Powersports industry experience such as storefront and make/model/year preferred, but not required
2+ years experience in online retail / digital commerce
Experience utilizing email platforms, including familiarity with the platform’s technical language
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
Demonstrated analytical proficiency
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Meticulous attention to detail
