Loyalty is a strategic growth priority for Backcountry and we are expanding our brand marketing team to support our loyalty program offering. In order to grow our brand awareness, increase engagement and develop a meaningful connection with our customers, we must become more sophisticated in our approach to driving loyalty. In support of this, we are looking for an Associate Brand Manager to help support and shape the future of the loyalty program.

This is an exciting opportunity to be a part of Backcountry and Competitive Cyclist’s brand efforts. This role will support the execution of our Brand and Loyalty strategy, ensuring all touch-points across the brand and business are aligned and reflect the vision we are building towards.

This is a cross-functional position that will need to partner closely with a number of internal teams, including merchandising, creative, UX, product, analytics and our Gearhead program.ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

A passion for brand development and an ambition to build a unique and differentiated leading brand in the outdoor space
Develop a comprehensive branding strategy for a loyalty program across multiple sites including Backcountry.com and Competitivecyclist.com
Determine how loyalty and Gearheads are interwoven from a branding, messaging and site experience standpoint
Ensure loyalty messaging is incorporated in channel assets and campaigns created by the brand team
Execute regular tests and campaigns to drive incremental revenue and understand elasticity related to credits and increasing revenue
Determine how to communicate diverse value propositions in limited marketing real estate
Manage and coordinate asset delivery to an engineering team building the key loyalty program experiences on site
Provide input to messaging hierarchy across key touchpoints
Participate in improvement of organizational processes

QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS & ABILITIES:

3+ years experience in a brand marketing, production, project management or equivalent / relevant role
Strong leadership skills, attention to detail and people management skills
A unique blend of a customer-centric philosophy, structured and analytical problem solving with creative flair and imagination
Ability to juggle multiple projects with ease and perform under pressure with a strong attention to detail
Experience in a digital and or agency environment
Experience of a loyalty or points program advantageous
Confident managing complex cross functional teams and process
Adept at managing a budget and timeline
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
Basic knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel
Demonstrated ability to thrive in an ever changing, sometimes chaotic environment
Ability to anticipate the needs of other team members to increase efficiencies
A collaborator at heart - this is a cross-functional role that requires partnership with multiple teams across the business
A self starter who takes accountability and responsibility
A hands-on and proactive approach that is happy to execute autonomously as well as manage cross-functional communication and expectation
