About the job

The EDI Analyst will be responsible for daily submission, monitoring, correcting and general trouble-shooting of electronic data interchanges (EDI) between Backcountry.com and Vendor Partners. In addition, the EDI analyst will work with the Vendor Shared Services team to ensure all service level agreements and key performance indicators are upheld between the Merchandising Department and Vendor Operations.

ABOUT THE JOB:

Support day-to-day operations of EDI, including identifying any technical problems with sending/receiving transactions such as purchase orders, confirmations, invoices and ship notes
Review electronic data received from vendor partners to ensure presence and accuracy of critical data elements and perform data validations
Update NetSuite systems to reflect transmitted data specifically as it applies to purchase order confirmations, invoices and ship notices
Assist with designing, testing and implementing new transmission documents in conjunction with existing workflows
Oversea new vendor onboarding relationships including working with EDI service provider SPS to ensure vendor EDI design is correctly mapped within NetSuite
Develop NetSuite user and training materials as it applies to new or update EDI processes and workflows
Keep current on industry data exchange file formats (e.g., XML, X12, CSV)

About You:

1-2 years of relevant experience; working with and managing EDI and Purchase Ordering Systems
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
Intermediate working knowledge of Microsoft Excel
Demonstrate strong analytical skills to support data driven decision making
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work in a team environment
Ability to gather and consolidate information from multiple sources, to provide informative decisions
Ability to multi-task and prioritize a demanding and varied workload; eager to work in a rapidly growing/evolving corporate environment
