About the job
We're looking for a Senior Software Engineer to join our small but mighty Marketing & Merchandising Team here at Backcountry. If you enjoy collaborating with teammates, mentoring more junior team members, and building confidence and knowledge in those around you, then this may be the team for you!
We need someone to be able to hit the ground running and help drive our distributed architecture to the next level. The ability to prioritize varying tasks, troubleshoot complex issues, gather requirements, and communicate with external teams, stakeholders and product managers is essential.
Skills Required
- Spring Framework
- Java
- Relational Databases and SQL Queries
- NoSQL / Document Databases
- Knowledge of different architectural styles, e.g. REST, event-driven, message-driven, microservices, etc.
- Deployment Best Practices, CI/CD - Kubernetes, Docker, Containerization
- Logging, Monitoring, Alerting Best Practices
- Linux Command Line
