About the Role:

The Manager of Loyalty Marketing will be responsible for the crafting and execution of a cutting edge loyalty program designed to foster customer retention on backcountry.com, competitivecyclist.com and steepandcheap.com. Reporting into the Senior Director of Retention marketing, this position will play a key role in the launch of an industry leading loyalty program. As a key member of the retention marketing team, this role will work cross functionally with members of the gearhead organization, integrated marketing, performance marketing, merchandising and site ops.

Responsibilities:

In conjunction with retention marketing lead, responsible for a ground up refresh of the loyalty program.
Act as an impactful voice within the broader marketing organization, ensuring that the loyalty initiatives are at the forefront of activations.
Partner with dev ops team, to ensure proper prioritization of loyalty program initiatives.
Plan compelling promotions and impactful rewards for loyalty program participants, act as the key driver within your cross functional team to make those plans become a reality.
Manage calendar and timelines for loyalty program operations, working with your cross functional team to ensure deliverables which keep the program running smoothly are on track.
Craft communications plans, in addition to e-mail marketing, to ensure the loyalty program is well-represented across various outbound marketing touchpoints.
Create and communicate regular reports on the health of the loyalty program using a forward thinking measurement approach.
Act as key liaison for finance to ensure program metrics are aligned with business goals to ensure program efficacy.

Experience We’re Looking For:

Subject-matter expert in loyalty programs
3-5 years in a retention marketing position, specifically working on a loyalty program
Extremely knowledgeable about loyalty industry trends and competitive analysis
Well versed in common loyalty program benchmarks and measurement strategies
Strong communicator with proven experience presenting to senior leadership,highly analytical, problem solver
College degree minimum, MBA is considered a plus
