Job Description
This key supporting role on the Performance Marketing Analytics team will build reports and monitor the performance of the largest marketing spend budgets for Backcountry, Competitive Cyclist and Steep and Cheap. This position will work directly within the Marketing Analytics team, and will own reporting for channel performance across multiple websites and coordinate with the Marketing Analytics team to drive short and long-term revenue and profitability. Using Looker, Excel or SQL, this person will work to surface results, insights and help communicate them to various business stakeholders. In addition, this person will interpret data, and analyze results using statistical techniques and provide and improve ongoing reports. The ideal candidate has extensive experience manipulating and analyzing large data sets and possesses excellent interpersonal, communication, and problem solving skills.


• Own reporting on a daily, weekly and monthly basis
• Build forecasting models for month, quarter and year across different websites
• Work closely with the Finance Team and Merchandising Team to align on business goals and clearly communicate with the Performance Marketing Team on recent changes
• Assist in the preparation of board presentations on a quarterly basis
• Create dashboards by pulling data from different sources and present them to management team
• Answer ad-hoc analytic questions
• Ensure data collection is optimized to provide crystal-clear visibility into the past, present, and future behaviors of our customers
• Pursue data quality, troubleshoot data validation, and see issues to resolution


• 1+ years of analytical work experience, preference in E-Commerce
• Excel super user
• Technically proficient in SQL and/or LookML, R or Python is a plus
• High attention to detail
• Strong organizational skills with an obsession to detail and quality
• Exceptional work ethic and proven ability to overcome obstacles to deliver results
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
• Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, Engineering, Economics, Information Systems, or Marketing (with an analytic focus) from a top educational institution or other quantitative fields with relevant business experience also considered.
• Passion for the outdoors a plus
