The Sr. Analyst, Retail Finance is responsible for managing the financial planning, forecasting, and reporting for the company’s Retail Stores; including strategic planning, annual operating/budget review, forecasts, reporting of key metrics, driving analysis on new locations and supporting the Retail Store team. Included in these requirements are: analysis of new locations, providing financial support on key initiatives, cost/benefit analyses, NPV/return on investment analyses and development of effective communication to senior management. This role will also have the responsibility to build and maintain strong processes for collecting, analyzing, and reviewing financial information from throughout the organization and for building strong relationships with Retail leadership.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
! Provide complete financial support for Retail Stores
! Conduct analysis on store by store performance
! Lead reporting analytics: performance by location, customer profiling, comparisons vs peers, etc.
! Provide monthly variance analysis of store performance versus budget and prior year
! Partner with the SVP of Retail Stores and Director of FP&A to standardize processes and drive best practices throughout the organization
! Develop and upgrade critical finance processes, business and review cadence, including leading the monthly and annual financial management cycles
! Conduct ad-hoc analyses and scenario modeling to drive decision making
QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS & ABILITIES:
! Bachelor degree in a business related field with equivalent experience
! 3+ years of relevant Finance experience
! Previous experience with Retail Stores
! Advanced analytical skills and the ability to drill down into the details, while also seeing and understanding the big picture
! Excellent verbal and written communication skills
! The ability to communicate effectively across functional groups and across varying levels of the organization
