The Senior Ecommerce Analyst will leverage exceptional critical thinking abilities, strong business acumen, and a passion for data and web analytics to make an impact on the customer experience. The ideal candidate will be a self-driven thought leader among a high-performing team of analysts, site operators, data scientists, and cross-functional business stakeholders.

To be successful in this role, one needs to develop a master knowledge of our customer-centric view of the world, continually identify opportunities throughout the conversion funnel and site experience, and be effective in building, pitching, and obtaining alignment with stakeholders. This person will help drive data driven answers to complex questions, communicate findings, and anticipate questions from leaders and stakeholders.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

Responsible for developing, maintaining, and leveraging web analytics, to guide operational decision making, customer experience improvements, and strategy
Develop a deep data driven understand of the customers shopping behavior and how they move throughout our four websites
Responsible for building and maintaining web analytics, voice of customer data, and reporting to monitor core KPI performance and guide customer experience decisions
Drive the continued enhancement of our customer experience up and down the funnel, proposing a strategy, getting buy-in from key stakeholders, and aiding in execution and monitoring of experience changes and strategy
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, data scientists, functional leaders, and the data engineering team to advance our understanding and optimization of best in class web analytics
Use quantitative data gathered from customer database and web analytics tools to develop an understanding of customer behavior (past, present, and future) to make strategic recommendations and predictions
Build ROI models and predictions to inform A/B testing roadmap and gauge the size of proposed improvements to the customer experience
Pursue opportunities to enhance data collection to provide crystal-clear visibility into the past, present, and future behavior of our customers - including obtaining cross-functional alignment on value added and managing execution or implementation
Lead the development of a testing roadmap to continuously inform our assumptions and investments
Lead hiring of Jr Analysts to support data needs of the team
Direct management of Jr Analyst supporting collective analyst team reporting needs
Provide feedback, coaching, and career development of Jr Analyst

QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS & ABILITIES:

Comfortable working in an unstructured environment, taking ownership for results and self-directing your efforts to the subject areas and questions which have the greatest potential impact on the business
Proven track record of or strong desire to be personally accountable for the analysis and proposals that drive a business at a large scale, with high consequence
Ability to move fast, decide which issues need to be prioritized on any given day, and obsession with doing your part to drive the business forward
Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, Engineering, Economics, Information Systems, or Marketing (with an analytic focus) from a top educational institution or other quantitative fields with relevant business experience also considered
Excellent interpersonal, communication, and problem solving skills
Experience with analyzing large data sets, data modeling, data mining, and predictive analysis
Experience in E-Commerce Performance Marketing preferred
Command of Microsoft Office applications, particularly Microsoft Excel
