QALO, based in Santa Ana, CA, is seeking an experienced professional to join its team as Director, eCommerce. This position will report directly to the President/COO.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Strategic leader who will define and evolve the role of technology and digital at QALO. Must be passionate about technology, self-driven, have a deep understanding of consumer habits and an ability to utilize data and results to drive the strategy of the business.

This individual will lead efforts to innovate, execute and optimize the eCommerce business, drive traffic, increase conversion and retain customers.

Website:
• Drive strategy and execution of the QALO website; experience with the Shopify platform and knowledge of alternative platforms strongly desired
• Work with internal and external resources to optimize user experience; experience managing external agencies and web developers desired
• Utilize strong analytical ability to evaluate end-to-end digital customer experience
• Solid knowledge of website analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics); monitor and administer web analytics dashboards, reports and key reporting tools
• Analyze sales results and performance; compile data in to reports for executives to review
• Optimize site for SEO/SEM efforts; increase conversion rates and SEO results
• Develop and execute A/B tests to improve conversion rates of organic and paid traffic
• Manage product and pricing updates on website; maintain and update pages, product merchandising standards and navigation experience on site
• Manage creation of landing pages to support online advertising
• Collaboration and on-going assessment of current and potential external agencies, vendors and partners
• Evaluate emerging technologies and provide thought leadership and perspective for adoption where appropriate
• Web maintenance and trouble shooting

Amazon:
• Understand the nuances of the Amazon ecosystem and work within its constraints
• Develop cohesive direction and strategy across multiple Amazon platforms
• Track platform performance using established metrics
• Optimize listings based on specific platform algorithms
• Continually look for expansion and new outlets to sell on
• Strategically set and optimize SEM/Adwords campaigns
• Utilize third party vendors and applications as necessary to improve efficiencies and help reach deliverables

Digital Marketing:
• Demonstrated expertise in managing paid social campaign implementation, optimization and analysis, including: SEO, SEM, display, social media and video
• Strategically set and optimize SEM/Google Adwords campaigns
• Partner with Marketing leader to develop plans for campaign launches and growth; execute against them while using performance data to guide decisions
• Analyze paid media performance to identify trends and insights; optimize spend and performance based on the insights
• Research new avenues of lead acquisition to meet growth targets

Implementation of eCommerce platform in to SAP Business One and on-going support:
• Understanding of the strategic direction for SAP Business One
• Ability to work with the team to keep activities aligned to the strategic roadmap
• Lead and manage the application lifecycle from project implementation to on-going maintenance and support

Email:
• Conduct analysis of emails and assess productivity based on content, day and time sent, subject line effectiveness, etc.
• Detailed analysis of open and click rates, bounces and opt-outs; problem-solve any deliverability issues
• Assess competitive landscape by examining email strategies of key competitors and the overall industry to understand emerging trends
• Ensure email messages are properly constructed to adhere to industry best practices and are optimized for inbox deliverability
• Partner with Marketing leader to develop segmentation strategy based on website data, target audiences, customer lifecycle, collection affinity, etc.; integration in to CRM database when implemented
