Job Description

Under general supervision, this position is responsible for the management of jewelry sales. They will be responsible for driving revenue through QALO’s existing accounts, while pursuing new key and independent prospects. Additionally, this role will be responsible for prospecting, acquiring and managing domestic rep groups to properly support this category.

Sales Administration

- Establish a planned program for customer on-boarding and development, working with key stakeholders on all aspects of the sales process.
- Design, implement and enforce adherence to sales policies and procedures.
- Manage the day to day functions of sales administration within the Jewelry category (service, reporting, account meetings).
- Partner with Sales and Marketing team(s) on internal marketing initiatives, merchandising, and go to market strategy.
- Exceed and drive overall sales goals through set monthly objectives, reports and analysis.
- Develop, execute and ensure attentiveness to Key Account Management process and CRM system.

Sales Management

- Develop comprehensive implementation plans for customer-specific programs and steward the execution through precise communication and a joint scorecard process.
- Collaborate with marketing resources and the VP of Sales to define QALO’s jewelry channel sales strategy, and to develop solutions responsive to the customer's business.
- Prospect, acquire and on-board domestic sales rep groups
- Determine the primary metrics for measuring analysis, program, and field rep success.
- Provide data and analysis of the jewelry channel sales programs, and form recommendations for utilization of annual programs.
- Develop strategies for gaining access and building trusting and successful business relationships with top retailers within the jewelry channel.
- Ensure precise, consistent, and timely communication with the customer, Management Team, and other departments to include weekly sales calls, action lists and cross-functional score cards by key account.
- Adhere to current QALO policies, procedures, products, programs and services.
- Maintain hardcopy and electronic personal and department filing
- Other special projects and responsibilities as assigned
- Execute administrative tasks assigned by VP of Sales.
- Travel required.

Physical Demands and Conditions

-Lifting a basketball overhead to shoot.

-The majority of work is performed in an office setting; and employees may remain in a seated position for extended periods of time, or you can get up and work from whatever space you like to save that lower back. We’re big fans of making sure that lumbar region is protected by QALO.

Job Requirements

- A minimum of 3-5 years of Jewelry sales management experience required. Experience in the jewelry industry is required.
- Management of Jewelry outside sales reps (3-5 years of experience)
- Focused efforts around hiring, training and driving revenue in a startup environment.
- Experience with regional & national jewelry key accounts is preferred.
