QALO is looking for a Creative/Art Director to lead the charge of enhancing, cultivating and establishing the QALO brand through a pivotal time in company growth. This individual will be responsible for leading a tight creative services team to devise the concepts and strategies to elevate the brand through all channels. This role will report to the SVP, Marketing and work closely with the marketing, product development, eCommerce and sales teams to bring the QALO brand vision to life through multiple channels. This role requires an individual that resonates with and is passionate about the QALO brand and has a vision of creatively scaling the brand and building a community.

The QALO Creative/Art Director understands the importance of consistency and brand integrity in integrated marketing and advertising, including branding, eCommerce, digital advertising, social media, point of purchase materials and more. This individual will be able to align creative strategies with marketing strategies, inspire a team to develop superior work and execute creative that tells a story, builds the brand and grows sales.

- Oversee all aspects of creative, including, but not limited to: creative strategy and execution, graphic design, videography, photography and copy
- Define the visual style and overall look and feel of our brand
- Initiate and conduct creative brainstorming sessions
- Concept and execute annual branding and product launch campaigns
- Coordinate and direct internal designers as well as outside vendors such as photographers, videographers, web programmers/designers, trade show display vendors, freelance artists and printers
- Work closely with internal and external partners to ensure consistency across all brand touch points
- Plan, attend, and direct photo and video shoots
- Collaborate with Sales tTeam to win new accounts and bring our brand to life at retail
- Identify opportunities to bring additional exposure and awareness to the brand, through creative outlets
- Identify creative trends in the industry to help guide product development, marketing and overall thought leadership
- Lead and motivate the creative team to achieve their individual and team goals through mentoring, coaching and training
- Manage production workload holding team accountable to deadlines
- Work with product team to understand and align product vision with a marketing strategy
- Work with Global Distribution Manager to ensure brand integrity through all international distributors
- Create operational procedures and guidelines for the creative department

Knowledge and Skills Requirements-
- Strong leader with experience and passion for the brand, managing people and building out teams
- Ability to gracefully balance large initiatives with small requests
- Experience managing projects and agencies with little supervision
- Excellent organization and communication skills
- Excellent interpersonal skills in person and by phone or email, with high professionalism
- A minimum of 5 years experience working in a creative position, with 2+ years of experience managing a team
- BA/BS degree in closely related field is desirable and/or commensurate work experience
