Essential Function

Manage the overall vision of Klim’s marketing efforts within events, shows, athletes and influencers for snow, off road and motorcycle segments. Through the management of a team, this position will develop for each season, a marketing plan that supports Klim’s yearly objectives. This will entail developing and maintain a group of athletes and influencers, deciding on company’s show and events strategy, working with others in the marketing group to utilize these channels to execute the marketing plans and measure effectiveness of marketing efforts.

Understanding marketing best practices will be key in being successful with this position. Another facet to this position is working with Klim’s Product Line Managers to insuring that they are receiving information from the field that will help in developing future product lines and company direction.

Duties & Responsibilities
• Manage a team of employees
• Develop and maintain a team of athletes and influencers.
• Develop plans specific to shows and events that Klim would attend.
• As plan dictates develop and execute Klim created events.
• Develop marketing strategies and plans based on company’s goals and objectives that will be driven through company’s marketing efforts within events, sponsored riders and influencers.
• Manage the different projects existing within the seasonal plan, working with different groups with the marketing group to make sure projects are completed.
• Analyze and measure marketing efforts to make sure Klim is receiving highest ROI.
• Work with PLM team by providing feedback from sponsored riders, end consumers and from other sources.
• Work with PLM team to make sure that there is a strong understanding of product direction and marketing segment focus.
• Communicate industry trends/influences.
• Maximize product exposure in the field through selected industry contacts.
• Develop integration into social media/customer interaction with all ad campaigns—always offer more behind the ad.
• he athlete managers are the ones who manage the other aspects about an athlete's sponsorship
• Negotiate solid contracts with Athletes and events which is beneficial for both the company and the athlete/venue.
• Capitalize on media connections to get athlete and product exposure.
• Work with Digital to help generate content for different marketing channels. (Email, social media, blasts, viral videos, website, etc.)
• Help develop our events from proposal right up to delivery, including:
o Set, communicate and maintain project timelines and priorities
o Develop contacts to secure appropriate and good-value venue
• Organize appropriate sponsorships
• Work with our graphic designer to develop promotional materials
• On-the-day / On-site management of events
