About the job
The Product Engineer will be responsible for ushering a product through development, commercialization, pilot production, production life, and consumer use to make sure the product lives up to its performance criteria.
This includes, working with product managers to understand the uses and requirements of a product as well as working with designers to make sure these use requirements are incorporated in the design.
Coordinate testing of the product to determine manufacturing specifications – keeping in mind standard HydraPak manufacturing process to make sure the product is producible by manufacturing partners.
Evaluate the product through the commercialization process to make sure the manufactured product meets requirements and demonstrate this by coordinating and evaluating pilot production of the product.
Work with the HydraPak Asia team to monitor the product through the production cycle to make sure it remains in regulatory compliance and verify the product is correct by implementing incoming inspection.
Work with customer service and warranty teams to monitor product performance during its consumer use. Adjust the product as necessary to improve functionality and performance.
Unify HydraPak and Polar Bottle document specification and control processes to create an updated standard for the organization.
Manage the Associate Engineer to divide specification workload and product lifetime assurance.
