We are looking for an experienced and enthusiastic Social Media and Event Management Specialist to join our marketing team. You will be responsible for the day-to-day management of the company’s social media and events. You are an excellent communicator, a versatile creative writer, a team player and great project manager. You will be an active participant in all events and social media data collection and analyses in order to consistently improve the brands marketing efforts over time.

This position will be dedicated to managing the social media and event marketing strategies for HydraPak, Polar Bottle, and Bottle Bright.

–Responsible for managing event marketing plan and budget that supports the company’s brand image, product, and key messaging
–Develop and implement social media marketing editorial calendar to increase engagement and support brand's overall strategic marketing plan and sales goals
–Assist in maintaining the brand’s social channels, managing relationships with creative partners and influencers
–Own all event project management and execution for sponsored events, consumer shows, and trade shows
–Execute consistent and meaningful content on all social media platforms, including writing and editing social media posts, improving customer engagement, and promoting social email campaigns
–Communicate with social media followers, including responding to queries in a timely manner
–Assist in managing social influencer programs and attend influencer events
–Track and provide metrics for all brand social media channels, preparing monthly reports
–Work with retail marketing manager to create event activations, plan, and attend all events in field
Qualifications:
–Prior social and event marketing experience (1-3 years) with a consumer product brand, experience within the active Outdoor industry a plus
–Eager to grow skillset; able to understand what it means to drive profitable traffic and proficient with reporting analytics and data
–Excellent written and verbal communication skills and must have an understanding of social media management and strategy
–Multi-tasking and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks
–Experience with event merchandising, planning, coordination and execution
–Excellent organizational, budget, and project management skills
–Ability to work autonomously, practice good judgment, effective decision making and time management skills
–Ability to work in, and make a positive contribution to a team environment

Position Requirements:
–Standard work day Monday – Friday 8:00AM – 5:00PM in Oakland, CA or Boulder, CO
–Travel anticipated for trade shows
–Travel possible within US and to Europe, Asia
–Additional time occasionally required outside normal hours for travel, trade shows, or special projects
