THE POSITION:
Human Resources and Office Manager

OBJECTIVE:
This is a dual role involving full spectrum human resources and office management responsibilities of HydraPak, LLC. This role is responsible for working with all staff on employment related issues on a professional level in the following HR functional areas: benefits administration, team-building activities, employee feedback/relations, performance review processing, recruitment and onboarding, policy implementation, and employment law compliance. The office manager component of this position is responsible for overall front office activities, office supply purchasing/monitoring, IT assistance, and building & facilities management.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Administers various human resource plans and procedures for all company personnel; assists in the development and implementation of employee handbook and personnel policies and procedures, in conjunction with senior management.
- Performs benefits administration to include assisting in claims resolution, change reporting, and communicating benefit information to employees.
- Conducts recruitment efforts, manages job postings, and resume reviews. Assist with new employee orientation and onboarding.
- Handles employee relations counseling, outplacement counseling, disciplinary actions, and exit interviewing.
- Maintains company organization charts and the employee directory.
- Recommends new approaches, policies and procedures to effect continual improvements in efficiency of the department and services performed.
- Maintains compliance with federal and state regulations concerning employment.
- Attends seminars and other professional advancement opportunities to keep the company current on legal requirements and advancing in our employee relations.
- Responsible for management of the building, which includes but not limited to managing repairs, issues, etc.
- Supervises the maintenance of office and warehouse equipment, including copier, compressor, forklifts, etc.
- Responsible for the facilities operations (such as distributing building access keys, managing security system, and phone system etc.)
- Supervises and coordinates overall administrative and office activities (including annual party and other employee social events as well as staff wellness initiatives)
- Supervises the maintenance and alteration of office areas and equipment, as well as layout, arrangement and housekeeping of office facilities.
- Negotiates the purchase of office supplies and furniture, office equipment, etc., for the entire staff in accordance with company purchasing policies and budgetary restrictions.
- Participates as needed in special department projects.
- Maintain a compliant employee database holding proper employment contracts and personnel and health files.
- Manage OSHA requirements and internal health and safety guidelines.

EXPERIENCE:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
- At least three years of human resource and office management experience preferred.
- SHRM-CP or PHR are highly desired.
- Spanish language skills are desired.
- Solid understanding of federal and state employment regulations
- Working knowledge of office processes

COMPENSATION:
Full-Time Exempt Salary 50k to 70k (based on experience)

LOCATION:
This opportunity is based in Longmont, Colorado with quarterly multi-day trips to the Oakland, California Office.
