As the eCommerce Merchandiser, you will help to grow UAG’s online business by driving a best-in-class consumer experience. You will focus on optimizing the merchandising presentation for, and Amazon Canada, and other online retail outlets while prioritizing the overall strategies and goals of UAG from a consumer-centric approach with a focus on maximizing sales.

You will identify friction points along the consumer journey and adjust to provide an optimal experience that combines both content and commerce. Additionally, you will lead the charge for identifying and driving site improvements through web data analysis and responding to Key Performance Indicators (KPIs). You should have an entrepreneurial spirit and thrive in a fast-paced and highly collaborative environment.

- End to end setup of all products on our website and key 3rd Party Marketplaces, including but not limited to creating product listings, product descriptions, reviewing images, confirming inventory, updating filters, coordinating copy, product data uploads, reviewing default colors and categories, style activation, site QA
- Maintain eCommerce channels on a daily basis using customer-first mindset and collaborating internal teams on product catalog performance
- Assist the eCommerce Team in weekly/monthly analysis reports on product & category performance
- Support marketing activity and product selection ensuring all marketed items and assets are prioritized and properly published
- Ensure promotions and markdowns are coordinated & executed expediently across online channels
- Optimize product listings and keyword planning to maximize online visibility
- Advise the eCommerce and Design teams for opportunities to increase run rates via advertising, markdowns, sales, etc.
- Monitor marketplace performance for product errors, listing corrections, ship times, reviews, and product health.
- Consistently analyze inventory allocation levels across platforms and coordinate with the operations team to review and recommend inventory levels taking into account seasonality, product lifecycle, and promotions.

- Proficient in Desktop Office applications such as Microsoft Office, Google Docs
- Understanding of online retail metrics and key factors that drive revenue
- Creative and strategic problem-solving skills combined with sound editorial judgment
- Experience with Search Engine Optimization and keyword planning
- 2-3 years in online retail or eCommerce merchandising experience
- Bachelors degree, or equivalent in the areas of Marketing, Business preferred

- Experience with eCommerce platforms and/or marketplaces is a plus (Amazon Vendor and Amazon Seller Central, eBay, Newegg, Walmart, Shopify, etc)
- Experience of inventory management systems, ERP Systems, and Business Intelligence Tools
- Creative copywriting and light photo editing preferred but not required
