ABOUT VARIAL //
Varial Surf Technology is a small, fast growing start up that has revolutionized surfing with the world’s first high-modulus surfboards cores. This technology is the standard for high-performance, low-weight parts in the aerospace and motorsports industries, but had never before been successfully adapted to surfboards. Varial's flagship product, Varial Foam, is making quick inroads with professional surfers, shapers, and consumers. Varial's new technology Infused Glass is a composite grade lamination for use on Varial Foam and stringered polyurethane foam.

POSITION SUMMARY //
We’re growing quickly and looking for eager Sales Reps to represent our products and technologies. The Sales Rep will be responsible for opening and servicing new manufacturing and retail surf accounts. To keep strong relationships with your accounts, you will be expected to drop strong product knowledge as you hold demos or informative clinics with end consumers or shop staff as you see fit. The ideal candidate will be energetic, passionate about surfing and be enthusiastic about opening new accounts. Weekly sales reports are expected, account organization and monthly sales goals required. Established relationships a plus.

COMPENSATION //
This position is a commission-based position with a possible small, supplement base salary plus additional benefits.

OPEN TERRITORIES // Reviewing resumes for all Domestic US Regions

ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES //
- Meet or exceed sales goals & budget on a seasonal basis
- Open targeted new accounts with manufacturers and retail brick and mortar shops, in respected territory
- Work with the Sales Manager to keep up to date on overall business
- Evaluate and suggest accounts for growth and market strength
- Visit accounts regularly to check inventory, deliver product and capture at once reorder business
- Conduct in-season weekly calls with key accounts to capture at-once reorder business
- Educate and inform accounts on brand, news, events, contests, etc
- Assist in retail marketing with key events within the territory and keep all POP and retail merch up to date
- Perform retail sales clinics for selected accounts, as needed
- Attend Industry buying shows in assigned territory and/or outside region
- On occasion you may need to follow up on A/R balances due, with accounts in your region
