The Marketing Manager will report to the Director of Marketing and lead the implementation of Yeti’s marketing plan. Managing a team of Marketing Specialists & Coordinators, the Marketing Manager will oversee Yeti Cycles paid media, public relations, digital marketing, product marketing, and events. The ideal candidate has 5+ years of experience working across various marketing channels and programs with a minimum of 3+ years management experience with a history of proven success.

Essential Job Functions:
Marketing Management –
o Working with Marketing Director, develop and maintain annual Marketing plan.
o Work with Marketing Director and Marketing Specialists to connect Yeti marketing plan across all channels including Brand, Digital, Creative, Product and Sports Marketing.
o Ensure the Yeti market and product positioning is accurately and consistently represented across all marketing efforts and brand channels.
o Create and manage monthly and quarterly marketing reports.
o Manage and track budget to actuals on monthly basis.
o Coach team as needed to ensure marketing goals and objectives are met.

Brand Management –
o Develop deep understanding of Yeti’s brand, tone, and voice, ensuring all efforts are on brand.
o Ability to guide and lead Marketing team, internal & external partners in developing an understanding of the Yeti brand, tone, and voice.
o Work closely with Content & Creative teams to align on content calendar that will fuel all Yeti Marketing efforts.

Paid Media –
o Develop paid media plans in alignment with all marketing initiatives.
o Manage campaigns, including all print and digital channels.
o Actively guide campaigns by translating digital analytics into strategic action.
o Ability to manage external media planning and buying partners.
o Partner with creative resources and Yeti internal creative to develop media assets.

Public relations –
o Manage press releases for product launches, content releases and company updates.
o Maintain strong relationships with press and key media contacts.
o Maintain internal press contact list and track press hits on monthly and quarterly basis.
o Coordinate interviews with appropriate internal person(s) as needed.
o Manage Marketing / PR bike fleet and ensure all bikes are accounted for and well maintained in coordination with the Yeti Race Team Mechanics.

Product Marketing –
o Deliver strategy for all major annual product launches for bike and apparel.
o Lead develop of all launch materials for new products working closely with product, sales, marketing and external creative partners.
o Lead annual Yeti sales collateral and communications for bike, apparel, and components, delivering clear messaging and product specs to all internal partners and distributors.
o Work closely with product and creative teams to deliver product instructions and manuals.

Event Strategy –
o Define annual tradeshow and event plan and work with marketing specialists and creative teams to develop booth spaces and layouts.
o Attend tradeshow as booth lead at industry trade shows and other industry events.
o Lead organizing product launch events.
o Lead and work with Event Specialists & Demo for all event planning which including permitting, event execution and promotion.
o Work with external guide company to plan and execute Yeti International Gathering events.

Job Requirements:
• 5+ years of Marketing experience, with a minimum of 3 years management experience.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Marketing, Digital or Brand positions.
• Capable of working in a dynamic team environment, sometimes on short timelines.
• Strong writing and communication skills – ability to communicate clearly and concisely.
• Functional brand and marketing expertise – progressive experience in marketing program development, planning and implementation.
• Proactive self-starter with strong project management aptitude – Ability to keep a team on track and drive projects to completion
• Critical thinking and analytical skills – healthy understanding and experience using data and analytics to evaluate program success and present findings in a concise and accurate way.
• Organized individual with ability to organize projects and team to create clarity.
• Experience working in the bike, mountain bike or outdoor industry is preferred.

Compensation Range:
$75,000-100,000, annually - depending on experience.
