POSITION SUMMARY //
The Global Head of Digital Commerce is a vital role in the organization with responsibility of overseeing digital commerce operations and driving global digital commerce strategy. The position will report to the CEO and be a part of the global executive committee. The successful candidate will be a true digital commerce leader with a passion, talent, and proven track record of building and implementing a strategy, managing and motivating people, driving profitable & sustainable growth and creating value for the organization.

RESPONSIBILITIES //
• Develop and clearly identify Volcom’s Digital Commerce strategy & execute plans to grow online sales and digital presence in all key regions including, the United States, Europe and Asia.
• Responsible for full global P&L with day to day operations of the North America P&L
• Responsible for evaluating and maintaining investments in digital commerce ranging from systems to marketing tactics.
• Ensure appropriate channel segmentation between Volcom.com and various online marketplaces
• Responsible for driving ecommerce and online marketing for Volcom as well as successfully managing an internal staff and 3rd party vendors.
• Identify and prioritize opportunities that will provide revenue growth and margin improvement
• Collaborate with Marketing, Design, Merchandising, Wholesale & Retail Planning teams to identify seasonal campaign pushes.
• Collaborate with Planning team to manage inventory allocation per season according to revenue forecasting and seasonal campaigns
• Develop CRM and cross channeling strategies; manage CRM efforts to acquire new customer and maintain current customer base.
• Define and implement performance marketing strategies to drive qualified traffic and sales: SEM, SEO, affiliation, retargeting etc.
• Improve business intelligence analytics and monitoring of ecommerce business
• Evaluate continuous market opportunities for digital commerce & maintain market knowledge of the latest digital commerce solutions & techniques
• Hire, grow, train and provide leadership to ecommerce team
• Other duties as assigned
