The Sr. Director - HRBP will develop and own HR strategies forOakley’s Headquarters Manufacturing Plant Operations, Engineering, Supply Chain, R&D, Design, Product, Marketing and onsite shared services, with over 1,500 employees located in Foothill Ranch, California.
MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Guides the leadership team through organizational development and change management initiatives including organization design, evolution, development, etc.
Plans, designs and organizes the HR function to deliver the full array of HR services and support to the business. Actively pursues knowledge of business practices, policies, organization structure, roles and responsibilities to better understand the business.
Develops talent strategy for both manufacturing and corporate operations to ensure proper positioning for future growth. Leads the development and ongoing management of a culture that supports high performance to deliver on long-term goals
Identifies designs and delivers the necessary development programs and training opportunities that ensure employees are able to meet current & future performance standards and business requirements.
Leads the implementation of performance management tools within the organization while providing strategic leadership to drive change and improvement in its areas of opportunity, as well as execution of talent review and succession planning initiatives.
Ensures alignment between individual, business unit, and corporate practices and serves as a credible activist, operational executor, and business ally at all levels of the company. Seeks opportunities to leverage the COEs as necessary and builds relationships to ensure HR presence with employees at all levels.
Develops/enhances HR practices & policies to support and meet the compliance requirements for the company, while ensuring compliance with State and Federal law, corporate guidelines and practices.
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or related field,
12+ years of progressive HR experience with 5 years in a leadership role.
5+ years of experience working in a manufacturing, engineering, or supply chain environment, with experience supporting a large hourly manufacturing workforce.
HR Generalist experience, with demonstrated history of working cross-culturally and within a matrix organization to gain strategic alignment and drive impactful results. Experience in organizational design and effectiveness to link the talent strategy to the business strategy to drive results.
Demonstrated business acumen: intellectually curious about organizational systems, business strategies and emerging industry trends, with a verifiable track record of success partnering with management and serving as a credible/trusted resource.
Demonstrated strategic thinking: able to envision, distill, communicate, develop and implement short and long-term human resource/change management initiatives.
Outstanding interpersonal skills; demonstrated influence and diplomacy at all levels. Flexible and adaptable to changing business requirements.
Technologically astute and experience with HRIS systems. Strong project management skills with the ability to prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
Master’s degree in HR or related field and SHRM or HRCI certification, desired.
Bilingual English/Spanish, desired.
