We're looking for an Accounts Payable Clerk to join the team.
Responsibilities
• Coding expenses to general ledger accounts by analyzing invoice/expense reports
• Enter approved vendor invoices in the company’s accounting system
• Schedule vendor payments by monitoring account terms and discount opportunities
• Resolve purchase order, contract, invoice, or payment discrepancies
• Process employee expense reports by receiving and verifying supporting documentation
• Protect organization's value by keeping information confidential
• Perform monthly reconciliation and maintenance of major vendor accounts
• Process new vendor setup requests as needed including obtaining all required documents (W-9 form and initial vendor invoice)
• Assist with month end accruals
• Other duties as needed
Qualifications/Experience:
• Experience as accounts payable clerk in a manufacturing company - apparel experience a plus
• Intermediate Excel experience
• Experience processing payables in an ERP system
• Other required skills and traits include: organization, ability to analyze and problem solve, excellent written and verbal communication, attention to detail and positive attitude
