The Marketing Manager, Customer Acquisition is responsible for overseeing all “top funnel” marketing activity, with the goal of driving awareness, traffic and acquisition across multiple channels (web, retail) on a local level.
This person will work closely with many functions within the business - collaborating with the Head of NA/Sales Marketing and Regional Marketing Managers. This role will also liaise very closely with the Acquisition and Retention team based out of the London HQ.
The Marketing Manager, Customer Acquisition will report into the Head of Marketing for North America and needs to be the perfect blend of analytical and data driven with an appreciation and understanding of the Rapha brand and culture.
THE ROLE
Design and implement a multi channel local acquisition marketing plan, including, but not limited to:
• Building innovative and effective campaigns and programs to help new (to Rapha) cyclists become customers
• Developing programs to generate new traffic and leads through paid channels including SEM, display advertising, retargeting, social advertising and experimental channels includes managing relationships with external vendors and agencies if necessary
• Responsible for planning and developing the direct marketing calendar, contact plan and communications
• Sets strategic targets and goals for direct marketing programs
• Works with the graphic designer and copywriter to ensure product and channel messaging is effective and compelling in direct marketing
• Works to improve direct marketing responses and conversion rates by continually evaluating and adjusting the plan.
• Create and execute effective online and office brand awareness and lead generation campaigns includes everything involved in creating an innovative and successful marketing approach: landing pages, social media posts, ad copy, direct mail to ensure traffic and conversion metrics
• Track, measure and report on performance and allocate budget across channels to maximize our marketing spend
• Monitor and evaluate analytics and reports in order to develop and recommend strategies
• Document key learnings from all testing and quarterly share results with the marketing team
