Job Description

BOGA Paddle & Surf is in search of a Sales and Customer Service Rep to join the team in San Clemente, CA.

Position Summary // 
The BOGA Paddle & Surf Team is currently seeking an enthusiastic, energetic, health and fitness minded person to fill a Sales and Customer Service Representative position. The Sales and Customer Service representative will work directly with our small dynamic team in our San Clemente sales office. Must have prior experience in sales and customer service. Knowledge of the Stand Up Paddleboard Product and Industry and definite plus.

This is full-time position located in San Clemente, CA.  

Job activities include: 
- Extensive customer care consisting of daily communication with our global account base
- Administrative tasks: order entry, shipping and invoicing
- Order management from start to finish
- Interfacing with freight companies and resolving shipping logistic issues
- Working with US sales staff to assist in sales 
- Managing new dealer inquiries, web leads and existing dealer communication
- Seeking out new sales leads
- Building relationships with current and potential customers.
- Knowledge of entire product line upon start of job. A basic understanding of the industry required.
- Managing new dealer inquiries, web leads and existing dealer communication
- Working closely with accounting, production, & warehouses
- Managing all accounts including new customer set-up 
- Assisting with Event/Tradeshow preparation & coordination

Job Requirements

Qualifications //
- Two years’ minimum previous experience in customer service and/or sales( Fitness/Sports Industry Preferred)

- Computer proficiency as this position entails a great deal of data entry you must possess strong Excel, Word and Cloud based order management software.

- SUP/Surf sports industry experience a plus

- Problem solving / ability to adapt, improvise, overcome, and execute / strong critical thinking skills

- Must be a self starter, work in small company environment and have ability to work independently at times

- Strong interpersonal skills required / strong confident communication skills

- Ability to work and adapt in a fast paced, growing team environment
