Job Description

PIMA APPAREL is looking for a Marketing Specialist to work in our Ontario, California office. Ideal candidate will be familiar with the wholesale B2B apparel industry. This opportunity will require a broad knowledge on various facets of advertising and marketing including: market research & analysis, the development of communication materials, and special events/trade show co-ordination.

OBJECTIVE:
You will be responsible to implement, manage and optimize a company marketing strategy and advertising campaign to support sales team, increase revenue, and build brand awareness via digital and social media platforms, also thru industry trade events and networking.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Create annual marketing/advertising and trade show budgets
- Negotiate agreements with industry trade publications
- Set-up, test and launch marketing campaign and email blasts
- Devise the creation and management of published content (web and social platforms)
- Assess market opportunities within competitive landscape, and positioning
- Lead in developing, executing and optimizing paid and organic search strategy
- Plan and execute the use of social media content to grow channels: Instagram, Facebook, Pinterest, Twitter, etc
- Develop relationships to work closely with Bloggers and influencers for product placement
- Analyze and generate weekly status reports on marketing efforts and campaign performance
- Continuously optimize and communicate critical performance metrics – conversion data, traffic, bounce, etc
- Provide recommendations for improvement and efficiency to grow website traffic
- Keep current with digital marketing industry trends and best practices
- Responsible to oversee exhibitor details and sign-up paperwork for industry trade shows

Job Requirements

REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Ecommerce, Marketing or related field
- Minimum of 2+ years in campaign management, SEO strategy, and Social Media Advertising
- Experience in the wholesale apparel industry is must - work with blank t-shirts is preferred
- Exceptional analytical and project management skills
- Strong understanding of SEO, bid management, social media platforms, and web analytical tools
- Familiar with apparel trade vehicles in digital and print advertising
- Excellent oral/written communication and problem-solving ability
- Organized and detail oriented, enjoys work in a fast paced environment
- Collaborate, partner and cross-function with outside vendors
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and in online research skills
