Vibram USA is seeking a Sales Manager for its Shoe Repair division in North Brookfield, Massachusetts.
Job Summary:
The Sales Manager for After Market Soling Products will report into the VP of Sales, Vibram USA, and will have primary responsibility for the Shoe Repair Component businesses, and Sole Factor consumer Marketing program. Candidate will direct the marketing and sales activities of the After Market shoe repair division. The candidate will have overall accountability for product, price, promotion, merchandising, service, distribution and profitability of the product line. Candidates should have excellent verbal and written communication skills. Experience or knowledge in footwear and footwear construction is strongly preferred.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
• Independently develop the most efficient coverage pattern and sales plan for the territory, call frequency on accounts, develops expense plan and allocates time in the most productive manner.
• Responsible for sales organization development that will insure profitable distribution of products and long term growth.
• Responsible for keeping abreast of market changes, new materials or applications for product line. Maintain industry awareness for product evaluation and recommendation.
• Responsible for clearly defining customer product needs and for coordinating company resources as necessary to meet those needs.
• Responsible for setting divisional sales goals. Monitor and maintain product pricing to achieve gross margin goals.
• Responsible for keeping the VP of Component Sales up to date in key policy, strategy and tactical issues related to the product division.
• Recommends policies and procedures needed to implement strategy.
• Coordinate and develop sales forecasts and product line budgets in conjunction with sales and customer service staff.
• Participate in developing advertising and promotional plan and coordinate implementation. Plan, coordinate and participate in special events trade shows and customer' open houses.
• Complete other projects or duties as assigned by the Vice President of Sales.
