Position Overview:
Arcade Belts is looking for a production operations hire to help manage the system setup, production, transportation and receipt of Arcade goods. This role demands a strong ability to communicate across multiple departments within the company as well as with outside vendors and partners. We are a growing company and looking for someone to come in and make a difference right away.
The ideal candidate should be comfortable and familiar with the manufacturing and transportation process including purchasing, importing and receiving as well as the timelines and documentation associated with each phase. This role will work closely with the Product Line Manager, Product Developer, transportation partners and Arcade warehousing facilities. The Production Operations role will have the opportunity to wear a number of different hats and be a key player in helping to take Arcade Belts to the next level.
Overall Responsibilities:
• Support Arcade’s product, purchasing and sales teams with accurate and effective management of the setup and movement of Arcade goods.
• Responsible for item creation and maintenance in Arcade ERP systems.
• Assist with purchase orders and factory communications.
• Assist with managing production timelines.
• Manage transportation for domestic and international shipments including consolidation and vessel booking.
• Manage documentation associated with production, freight, importation and receipt including packing lists, commercial invoices, etc.
• Manage receiving process at multiple warehouses.
• Assist with product related warehouse projects.
• Manage warehouse communication.
