About the job
YOUR MISSIONThe Research and Development Intern will assist the team with a variety of Industrial Design tasks including artwork, renderings, sketches.
The work will include interfacing with management, industrial designers, engineers, and technicians to ensure their work will satisfy the design, development and general company needs for creative and reliable teamwork.
This internship will be exposed to the day to day workings of the overall Design group and have the opportunity to work cross functionally with Product Marketing, Engineering, CAD, Development, Research, and Innovation.
Additional responsibilities to include assisting with product research and inspiration and product testing and measurements.
This internship will last from June through August
YOUR TALENTCurrent college enrollment in Industrial Design or Product Design
Adobe Illustrator knowledge and ability to use
Adobe Photoshop knowledge and ability to use
Ability to create concept sketches and renderings
Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Power Point) in an office
CAD knowledge a bonus
Strong creative, problem solving and analytical skills
Detail oriented and ability to work in a team
Excellent communication skills
The pay rate for this internship will be $20.00 per hour.
