The Product Line Manager will drive strategic business objectives for the Regional Creation Center North America by supporting in the creation of product concepts that achieve agreed targets and brand objectives. You will assist in the creation of short, mid, and long term strategies across multiple apparel categories while working in a cross functional team environment.

As a Regional Creation Center, Product Line Manager, you will be responsible for achieving net sales targets and meeting gross margin targets. You will work cross functionally within the organization to create accurate and realistic seasonal assortments, build exclusive product concepts, and help drive the PUMA brand vision in North America. Additionally, you will identify future product opportunities while maintaining a keen understanding of multiple consumer groups. You will initiate, lead and take responsibility for the SMU product development process from brief to confirmed product.

Job Requirements

- Execute the SMU process including article efficiency, article budgets, hit rates, range planning, writing briefs.
- Give clear direction and information to all cross functional departments involved in the RCC process (development, design, account marketing, sales and merchandising) and work collaboratively with the inline categories to insure consistent PUMA brand message.
- Achieve net sales and gross margin targets and analyze business to understand growth trends and effectively communicate quantitative and qualitative reasoning throughout product creation process.
- Gain strong knowledge of all inline products, strategies, and marketing plans with the ability to effectively present to internal and external parties.
- Consumer expert for PUMA with an in-depth understanding of account consumer profile, expectations consumers have of the PUMA brand, and develop strong consumer focused strategies.
- Participate within the POD (design/development); actively and confidently communicates with the POD to ensure product development alignment with project briefs; directs the full product creation process through collaborative efforts with design, development, and merchandising.
- Analyze and report business performance on a monthly basis.
- Expert managing and maintaining PUMA systems (ie: PID, PRM, SMUDB).
- Represent the brand and utilize the PUMA 4Keys (Fair, Honest, Positive, Creative) in all decisions, actions, processes and practices.

- 3+ years’ experience in Apparel Product Management.
- Bachelor's Degree required.
- Excellent product management skills.
- Exhibits the ability to define, shape, and implement strategy in an effort to generate future growth.
- Sophisticated analytical skills with the understanding of business scopes and key success factors; ability to identify critical strategic leverage points on the account and category levels.
- Powerful Presenter/Influencer with the ability to capture an audience and build lasting coalitions to drive new initiatives.
- Consistently Delivers Results…! Problem solver; achieves performance despite obstacles and challenges.
- Flexibility for travel (approximately 30%).
