Job Description
YOUR MISSIONDevelop and analyze exception reporting to identify anomalies and perpetual inventory discrepancies; report variances and independently propose resolutions
Provide secondary level of support to Inventory Control Coordinator; advise Coordinator on resolutions to discrepancies or issues
Perform a number of broadly defined operational/inventory control related tasks defined by Operational Controlling Manager such as special projects relating to system upgrades, process testing, and new reporting tools
Drive consistent and timely reporting of Physical Inventory results and related analysis; compile high level Shrink reporting/Shrink trends for Management
Provide guidance to stores for a successful and compliant physical inventory program
On-site leadership support and training for store teams including control report analysis and real time guidance during Physical Inventories
Deliver consistent and timely analysis of Store compliance through Monthly reporting, work with field management and stores to influence favorable results; provide training and best practices on areas needing improvement
Review and update Policy and Procedures as they relate to Inventory Control
Analyze trends using reporting tools and exception reports to make appropriate recommendations for change where necessary
Ensure consistency/integrity between multiple systems and identify anomalies and/or potential vulnerabilities as they relate to Inventory Control; report issues to the appropriate departments and provide independent resolutions for improvement
Support training and development of PUMA stores through conference calls, scheduled touch bases, effective written communications, presentations, including but not limited to, Field Manager and Store Manager meetings
Analyze store processes relating to Inventory Control and propose improvements as necessary
Verify vendor invoices for payment and maintain system of record keeping; report any discrepancies between vendor invoices and store receiving to the appropriate vendors to obtain credits
Participate in store openings/closings and other projects requiring corporate assistance as needed


YOUR TALENT5+ years Retail or relevant experience required
Bachelors Degree preferred
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Ability to travel domestically to stores, appropriate meetings and events (up to 20%)
Strong organizational and analytical skills
Ability to effectively prioritize multiple tasks and excellent time management skills
Advanced level experience with Excel tools, including but not limited to Power Query, Pivot Tables, formulas, VLookups, etc.
Strong Microsoft Office experience with advanced level experience in Excel and PowerPoint
PowerBI knowledge is a plus
Exceptional skills in conflict management and flexibility
